The company supplies the retail, wholesale, food service and hospitality trade locally and also exports processed meat products to RSA and other African countries. We are committed to the continued development and growth of the meat industry in South Africa and across the region. To achieve this goal, we are looking for a suitably qualified, dynamic individual to apply for the following vacancy:

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

To positively influence sales volumes of Hartlief SA processed meat through consistent contact, networking and motivation with customers.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

At least 3 - 5 years' sales/marketing experience. Experience in FMCG sales will be an advantage. Relevant diploma or certificate in marketing, promotions, sales, or business administration will be an advantage. Must be Computer Literate (MS Office Packages)

KEY ACOUNTABILITIES:

Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs. Establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on potential new customers. Give feedback to management by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly sales reports. Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, etc. Address customer complaints by investigating problems, identifying solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
