Job Summary SALES REPRESENTATIVE (STEEL&TUBE) - CAPE TOWN (EPPING) (4537) Our client is looking for a Sales Representative to be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals. The ideal candidate must have experience selling mild steel and related products. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: xe2x80xa2 3-5 years' experience selling mild steel and related products is essential. xe2x80xa2 Sound knowledge of the Eastern Cape province. xe2x80xa2 Must be target driven regarding turnover and gross profit. xe2x80xa2 Understanding of sales process and dynamics. xe2x80xa2 A commitment to excellent customer service. xe2x80xa2 Excellent written and verbal communication skills. xe2x80xa2 Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers. xe2x80xa2 Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment. xe2x80xa2 Must have a valid drivers' licence. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: xe2x80xa2 Generating leads. xe2x80xa2 Identify and establish contact with potential customers. xe2x80xa2 Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers. xe2x80xa2 Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales. xe2x80xa2 Preparing weekly and monthly reports. xe2x80xa2 Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services. xe2x80xa2 Maintaining client records. xe2x80xa2 Assisting customers with queries related to products, pricing, and availability. xe2x80xa2 Servicing of new and existing customers. xe2x80xa2 Completing of call reports. xe2x80xa2 Assisting customers with technical advice and queries. xe2x80xa2 Opening of new sustainable accounts.
