IN-STORE ACTIVITIES
Take full advantage of any in-store branding, activities, promos to ensure maximum brand exposure and sales on lines.
Ensure that aged stock is merchandised correctly to increase sales to avoid returns
Encourage retailers to participate in promotions by implementing staff incentives as directed by management.
Successful roll out of regional part of national promos
Ensure stock levels are correct and stock is merchandised accordingly
Create promotion schedule in store
Analyse and provide feedback on promo results highlighting areas of success with continued approach
Areas that are unsuccessful provide potential solutions
Full function to manage merchandising requirements and sell through to achieve optimal display of products either by 3rd party merchandisers, in house customer merchandiser and in house merchandisers
Analyse of sales per product per store to determine best practice
Improvement of forward share of the company
Identify, present and implement effective merchandising point of sale aids
Be continually aware of competitive activities marketing / products / pricing etc. provide potential solutions kickbacks and present to management
Staff
Ensure all retail staff are trained on listed lines
Provided sales support and guidance to retail sales staff
Take full advantage of the customer in-house external sales force for joint sales calls to end users
In-store Marketing and brand awareness
Responsible for building the company brand in store
Ensure stock is positioned correctly based on local demographic
Identify opportunities for in store branding
Implementation and management of trade shows and customer days to achieve optimally from time allocated
Min Requirements:
Matric
Certificate / Diploma in Sales / Marketing
Drivers, Own vehicle
2 - 5 years experience as an External Sales / Key Account Manager
