Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Sales & Market Growth



Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the public and private sectors (e.g., education, healthcare, finance, municipalities). Actively prospect, pitch, and close high-value client accounts that require outsourced debt recovery services. Drive end-to-end sales processes - from lead generation to negotiation and onboarding. Deliver regular sales reporting and pipeline forecasts to the executive team.

Client Management & Retention



Develop and maintain strong, consultative relationships with key decision-makers. Conduct client needs analysis and tailor proposals accordingly. Support seamless client onboarding and collaborate with operational teams to ensure SLA delivery. Maintain regular contact with existing clients and seek upselling or renewal opportunities.

Strategic Business Development



Research and map new market opportunities and trends within the collections landscape. Develop sales campaigns and business development strategies aligned with company goals. Represent the business at industry forums, events, and conferences.

Proposal, Tender & Commercial Support



Lead the preparation of compelling proposals, bids, and tender responses. Collaborate with legal, compliance, and finance teams to structure client contracts.

Required Qualifications & Experience:



Minimum 5-8 years' experience in sales or business development, preferably in debt collection, credit management, or financial services. A proven track record in acquiring and managing B2B clients. Prior experience working with government departments, education institutions, and large corporates is an advantage. Post-matric qualification in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field preferred.

Key Competencies:



Strong knowledge of the debt collection process and related compliance (e.g., NCA, POPIA). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal abilities. High level of professionalism, self-discipline, and resilience. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Other Requirements:



Own reliable vehicle and valid driver's license. Proficient in MS Office, CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), and reporting tools. Willingness to travel within Gauteng and nationally if required.
