Promote the services of the companies superior destruction technology to the chemical, pharmaceutical and medical waste industry.
Promote visits to the companies facility by interested parties in order to foster an understanding of our process and by doing so cement the option of thermal desorption as the future and the way to go forward in assuring responsible and environmentally sound treatment of hazardous waste
Maintaining positive business relationships with existing clients to ensure future sales
Influencing existing or potential customers to buy our services
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
Understanding customer needs and requirements
Uphold the company image and always retain confidentiality
Collaborate with team to achieve better results
Liaise with the Logistics department to ensure timely collections of clients waste streams
Stay up-to-date with new services offered to clients and develop regulations
Organizing sales visits
Negotiate and close deals
Handle complaints or objections
Generate and qualify leads
Develop and maintain a customer database
Make sales calls to new and existing clients
Develop sales proposals
Prepare and present sales contracts
Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person

NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:
Responsible for growing the business through obtaining new clients
Establishing and securing new business
Liaise and meet with new/potential clients
Contacting potential clients and reaching out to customers leads through cold calls and emails
Presenting the company and the services that it provides to potential clients
SALES ADMINISTRATION:
Prepare quotes and present to clients as soon as possible, meeting the clients expectations
Send out Treatment Request Forms (TRFS) to new clients
Explain incoming procedures, packaging terms & conditions, etc. to clients and make sure that these procedures are followed.
Screening of all lists & treatment request forms sent through for quotation requests - to be checked by Sales Manager. Notify clients which waste streams are acceptable before sending waste for disposal.
Generate requisitions for supplier invoices/quotation
Generating client quotations according to client requirements as per TRF
Work closely with store personnel to make sure that the loads are offloaded in a correct and safe manner with the correct paperwork accompanying the loads (TRF, MSDs, Manifests, Tremcards, etc.)
Follow up on sales enquiries by telephone, email and personal visits
Assist stores with queries regarding deliveries
Assist with outstanding debtors
Sort out payment, invoice queries with accounts
Supply management with weekly reports on cold calling, quotations, client visits, customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
Checking data accuracy in quotations, orders, sales orders, destruction certificates and invoices
Liaise with the Logistics department to book waste collections and communicate this to the clients
Generating client quotations according to client requirements as per TRF.

Matric
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
Must be comfortable making cold calls, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.
