Job Summary A distributor of premium alcohol brands is looking for a Sales Representative for the Khayelitsha, Strand, Somerset West, Paarl, Town CBD, Blouberg, Kraaifontein, Gugulethu and Langa regions. The client is looking for an individual who shows collaborative and leadership team work, who is professional in their approach and who is inspired through creativity, to fill this exiting role: Duties & Responsibilities Brand Availability and Sales Volumes: xe2x80xa2 Achieve availability by channel, as per targets set xe2x80xa2 Correct implementation of brand availability, by channel xe2x80xa2 Ensure that brand equity is a key driver of all activity and activations xe2x80xa2 Drive volume, through innovative ideas xe2x80xa2 Drive volume, through brand prioritisation per channel Promotions and Brand Visibility: xe2x80xa2 Ensure that promotions are effectively implemented and within brand equity guidelines xe2x80xa2 Ensure that the correct brands are promoted in the correct channels and outlets xe2x80xa2 Ensure correct implementation of our National Promotions Strategy xe2x80xa2 Manage ROI (return on investment) of promotions xe2x80xa2 Ensure brand visibility is optimised through imagery, back room displays, staff uniforms, menus and specialised merchandise Operational Excellence: xe2x80xa2 Correctly implement and update call cycle xe2x80xa2 Achieve 100% call rate as per the call cycle xe2x80xa2 Ensure that all outlets are coded correctly xe2x80xa2 Ensure all requirements are achieved during the rep call xe2x80xa2 Correctly complete all administration and report requirements Consumer Interaction: xe2x80xa2 Interact responsibly with consumers at all available opportunities xe2x80xa2 Collect consumer information as per the brand target market xe2x80xa2 Feedback consumer learning and expectations Financial Asset Management: xe2x80xa2 Quantity and cycle discount parameters adhered to xe2x80xa2 Correct completion and timeous return of POD's and credit notes xe2x80xa2 Vehicle maintained and well cared for xe2x80xa2 Vehicle mileage is within budget xe2x80xa2 Responsible use of promotional stock Desired Experience & Qualification xe2x80xa2 3 Year Tertiary Education (Beneficial) xe2x80xa2 3-Years Relevant experience - NB experience within FMCG / liquor industry experience will be preferable xe2x80xa2 Product, service knowledge and understanding of category management xe2x80xa2 Knowledge of marketing and accounting principles xe2x80xa2 Computer literate xe2x80xa2 Ability to conceptualise and negotiate xe2x80xa2 Customer orientation xe2x80xa2 Sound interpersonal skills and creativity (big picture thinking) xe2x80xa2 Team player and ability to work independently using initiative xe2x80xa2 Endurance and ability to tolerate extended hours
