We are the Southern Hemisphere's leading Terry Towel Manufacturer seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to be responsible for driving new business, managing key accounts, and executing strategies to significantly increase sales and market share. As we look to expand both domestically and internationally, the Sales Rep's efforts will play a key role in driving this expansion, and directly contribute to the growth of the Company. Key Requirements
:
Matric (Grade 12) level of education with a Marketing-related qualification preferred.
3-5 years of proven Sales experience, ideally in the Textile, Manufacturing, or Consumer Goods Industries.
Track record of success demonstrating ability to achieve sales targets, manage key accounts, and develop strong customer relations.
Sufficient industry (towel and terry products market) knowledge, or a strong interest in learning about it.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, interpersonal, and communication (English, verbal and written) skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline from prospecting through to closing.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, with a focus on long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
:
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential customers across a variety of sectors (wholesale, retail, hospitality, etc.).
Build, manage, and nurture relationships with existing customer accounts, ensuring satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term partnerships.
Conduct market research to remain abreast of industry trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings, and collaborate with the team to adjust strategies accordingly.
Meet or exceed sales targets through effective negotiation, upselling, and closing new deals.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of Company products and value propositions, and convey these effectively to customers.
Work collaboratively with the marketing/design and production teams to align on sales strategies, new product launches, and customer needs.
Regularly report on sales progress, market feedback, and any operational hurdles, and provide actionable strategies for future growth.
