Establishing the technical needs of the customer and suggesting appropriate products.

Following up with customers and resolving any issues that may arise.
Keeping customers informed about new technological products.
Compiling proposals and reports related to technical products.
Ensuring that sales targets are consistently met.
Reporting to management about sales pipeline and potential new customers
Updating records of customer communications and contact information.
Technical selling, consultation and support of customers and in respect of the company's products and systems in commercial, industrial markets, mining, construction and renewables.
Acquisition and development of new customers in the (province) provinces.
Assistance with price negotiations as well as the conclusion of sales contracts
Preparation of Quotations, Client Follow Up, Product and Stock Consulting and Order Confirmation to Clients.
Backorder Administration in coordination with the Sales/Production Manager including client interaction.
Active support of sales staff in the preparation of sales offers in respect of technical and other aspects.
Gaining internal knowledge about new products or updates and changes.
Internal processing and presentation in the company's knowledgebase and training of colleagues.
Analyses and Assessment of market and customer requirements for new products and solutions.
Willingness to travel internationally for business development requirements
Be able to communicate well at all levels and be able to drive the entire sale cycle from lead generation, order intake to delivery, receiving (GRV) and payment.
Capable of preparing presentations, quotations and tenders and have an attention to detail mindset while keeping the big picture in mind when completing the mentioned administrative tasks.
Be technically skilled enough to review and design the electrical "ecosystem" required for the products and downstream machines using our power distribution equipment.
A Diploma or bachelor's degree in the Electrical Engineering field, business, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of sales or marketing experience in the Manufacturing/Engineering and mining industry
Experience in Sales of electrical equipment such as transformers / Power Generation equipment.
