Our client, a leader in the Car Rental / Services industry, is currently looking to employ an experienced, dynamic and driven Sales Representative in the East Rand, JHB.
Primary focus will be on nurturing business relationships and growing sales revenue with travel agents and travel consultants.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Sales or Marketing would be beneficial.
• Matric qualification is a minimum requirement.
• Minimum of two years of proven sales experience as a key account manager, client relationship account manager or business development consultant.
• Proven track record of new business acquisition.
• Work experience in selling a service is beneficial.
• Valid driver's license.
• Customer-oriented thinking and behaviour.
• Ability to maintain a professional image.
• Strong administration skills with speed and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional grammar and business writing skills.
• Computer literacy is essential.
• Strong negotiation skills across all levels of management.
• Ability to sell in different market segments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with both external and internal customers.
• Manage key accounts and foster close business relationships with clients to achieve sales targets.
• Organize and present sales proposals to clients in order to negotiate and close contracts.
• Build and strengthen relationships with the existing customer base.
• Negotiate positive rate increases year on year in line with company targets.
• Report on sales achievements and identify new opportunities.
• Achieve optimal sales profitability.
• Research and develop prospective client opportunities.
• Prepare effective quotations and proposals for both existing and prospective clients.
• Stay up to date with products, market trends and competitor activities.
• Plan and organize personal sales strategies to maximize success.
• Assist and guide clients in selecting suitable products that best meet their business requirements.
