We are looking for an experienced

Sales Representative

with a strong background in the

automotive industry

, specifically

online car auctions

. The ideal candidate has proven experience closing deals, working with

car dealers, auto inspectors, and automotive partners

, and confidently managing the full sales cycle. This role requires excellent communication skills, a results-driven mindset, and the ability to build long-term relationships within the automotive ecosystem. EXCELLENT English is a MUST.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

actively identify, contact, and engage potential customers within the automotive sector (dealers, auction participants, partners); sell and close deals related to online car auction services and automotive solutions; build and maintain strong relationships with car dealers, auto inspectors, and other industry stakeholders; conduct outbound sales activities including cold calls, follow-ups, and lead nurturing; present products, services, and pricing clearly and professionally; manage the full sales cycle: lead qualification, negotiation, closing, and after-sales follow-up; maintain accurate records of all interactions, deals, and customer data in the CRM system; follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction; stay up to date with market trends, automotive auction processes, and competitor offerings; handle customer questions, concerns, and objections in a professional manner; contribute to the expansion of the customer base in the South African automotive market.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NEEDED:

proven experience in the automotive industry, preferably with online car auctions; demonstrated ability to close sales deals in B2B or B2C automotive environments; experience working with auto inspectors, car dealers, and automotive partners; strong background in sales, inside sales, or business development; excellent spoken and written English (mandatory); confident phone presence with professional communication and negotiation skills; experience using CRM systems and other sales-related tools; strong organizational skills and attention to details; ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively; results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on targets and performance.

Job requirements:

high-speed Internet (50 Mbps upload and download speeds), a headset (headphones, a microphone) and a camera to support the video calls capability.
