Summary
We are seeking a driven and self-motivated Sales Representative to grow and manage a defined territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing accounts, prospecting new business, and expanding brand presence within the channel, with a strong focus on long-term customer value rather than short-term wins. This role involves building effective relationships with customers outside of the optical channel, including independent fashion, department, footwear, and sports retailers.
The Sales Representative will demonstrate excellent customer service skills, strong product knowledge, and the ability to meet and exceed sales targets while working both independently and as part of a team. Key responsibilities include opening new accounts, increasing brand penetration within existing accounts, conducting in-store training, negotiating POSM placement, and analysing sales data to identify growth opportunities. The role requires efficient planning, reporting, and confident use of digital tools, including online systems and Microsoft Office.
The ideal candidate should be adaptable, resilient, innovative, and commercially minded, with strong negotiation and closing skills, the ability to build trust quickly, and the confidence to turn objections into sales. Willingness to travel and independently manage a territory is essential.
