Job Summary Job Title: External Pump Sales Representative Location: Gauteng, East Rand Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented External Pump Sales Representative to drive business growth and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a deep understanding of the water pump industry and a proven track record in sales. You will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, while building lasting and trusted relationships with our clients. Key Responsibilities: o Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow our customer base. o Nurture and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business. o Conduct on-site visits to assess client needs and recommend appropriate, technically-sound pump solutions. o Prepare and deliver professional quotations, tenders, and sales presentations. o Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sale to successfully close deals. o Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. o Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, products, and competitor activities. o Provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports to management. Qualifications and Experience: o A minimum of 3 years of proven external sales experience, specifically within the water pump industry, is essential. o Must have a Matric certificate (Grade 12). o Must possess a valid driver's license and have your own reliable vehicle. o Full professional proficiency in both English and Afrikaans is required. Skills and Attributes: o Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. o Strong negotiation and closing skills with a hunter mentality. o Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain complex mechanical products. o Highly motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. o Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
