Job Description


Our client in the Manufacturing industry is currently looking for a Sales Representative to focus on selling raw materials to businesses within the Construction industry, in Johannesburg.
Responsibilities:

  • Promoting and selling raw materials used in construction processes, building strong relationships with construction companies, contractors, and related businesses.
  • Acquiring New Customers: Identify potential customers within the Construction industry and establish contact to introduce the company's range of raw materials. Develop persuasive sales pitches to attract new clients.
  • Expanding the Customer Base: Implement effective strategies to expand the company's customer base within the Construction sector, establishing the company as a preferred supplier of raw materials.
  • Selling New Products: Present and sell new raw material product lines to existing customers, highlighting the benefits and advantages of using these materials in their construction projects.
  • Market Research: Conduct regular market research to stay updated on construction industry trends, project requirements, and competitor activities, providing valuable insights to the company.
  • Special Sales Activities: Develop and execute special sales activities and promotions tailored for the construction industry to boost sales and reduce stock levels.
  • Sales Strategies and Plans: Develop and implement sales strategies, including calling plans and new business pipelines, to achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's growth.
  • Building Long-term Business Relationships: Establish and nurture long-term business relationships with key clients in the construction industry, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Sales Reporting: Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, tracking progress against set targets and providing insights to the management team.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Collaborate with the Managing Director to define and track key performance indicators relevant to the Construction sector, ensuring sales efforts align with overall company objectives.
  • Presentations and Proposals: Create compelling presentations, proposals, and sales contracts tailored for Construction industry clients to showcase the value proposition of the company's raw materials.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage departmental risks and outcomes related to sales operations and customer relationships in the Construction industry.
Requirements:
  • Innovative.
  • Creative, resourceful, and energetic in their approach to sales and customer engagement within the Construction industry.
  • Experience in Sales within the Construction industry.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the raw materials used in construction.
  • Passion for Sales within the Construction industry and the drive to promote and sell raw materials used in construction processes.
Remuneration and Benefits:
  • Monthly Salary: R15 000 xe2x80x93 R20 000 per month.
  • Car Allowance: R3 500 per month.
  • Petrol Allowance: R4 500 per month.
  • Commission: Incentives based on achieving sales targets.
  • Business Tools: Provided with a laptop, cell phone, and tablet for business use.
