Our new South African branch, Medifood South Africa, is seeking an experienced sales representative with a well-established HCP relationship network in Gauteng. This network should include dieticians, specialist doctors (onco, pulmo, gastro, intensivist) and pharmacy managers in both the public and private sectors. The role is ideally suited for a person who is an "out-of-the-box" thinker and a natural builder with sound scientific knowledge (nutrition, dietetics, human physiology) and the entrepreneurial spirit required to succeed in a competitive market. The clinical nutrition sales representative will be required to visit public and private hospitals and practices within Gauteng and use scientific evidence and negotiation skills to launch an innovative, disease-specific nutrition brand. The right candidate will be a high-performing sales pro, who will be part of an energetic young company with a unique product range and have the opportunity to influence the overall South African sales strategy while gradually building and, if successful, eventually leading the sales team under them. Responsibilities In this role, your primary responsibilities include introducing the Medifood brand and defining and achieving sales targets in Gauteng. You will use a science-backed and evidence-based narrative to change how dieticians and specialist doctors think about clinical nutrition and convince them to switch from competitors' products to ours because of the benefits of the products to patients (training will be provided). Additionally, you will find ways to support HCP via education or problem-solving. You must maintain a high call rate and ensure full territory coverage to meet your targets. You are also responsible for proactively monitoring competitor activity in the area and contributing to business intelligence. Regular reports of your performance will be required. Finally, you will need to attend all necessary trainings, meetings, and conferences. Minimum requirements

• A Degree in Dietetics, Pharmaceutical Science, Biochemistry, or related
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience (dieticians and specialist doctors, especially in pulmonology, gastroenterology, and oncology)
• Understanding of the ins and outs of Gauteng's private and public hospitals, medical schemes etc.
• Very strong sales track record
• Good contact network amongst dieticians in Gauteng
• Business planning acumen
• Valid/unendorsed driver`s license and own car
