Scope of Work: Sales Representative - Funeral PolicyPosition Overview:
The Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling funeral policy products to clients. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in selling financial products, be results-driven, and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Client Acquisition
Source and acquire new clients through cold calling, referrals, community outreach, and door-to-door sales (if required).
Present funeral policy options clearly and persuasively to prospective clients.
Meet or exceed weekly/monthly sales targets.
Client Servicing & Retention
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Provide after-sales support and assist clients with queries or policy updates.
Ensure client satisfaction and policy retention.
Administrative Duties
Accurately complete and submit all required documentation and application forms.
Maintain records of sales activities, leads, and client details.
Compliance & Conduct
Abide by all regulatory requirements and company policies.
Uphold ethical sales practices and maintain professionalism at all times.
Minimum Requirements:
Matric (Grade 12)
Proven experience in sales, especially in financial products (e.g. insurance, banking, or similar industries)
Clear
criminal
and
credit
record (verification will be conducted)
Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills
Self-motivated, target-driven, and confident
Ability to work independently and in a team
Own transport is essential (if required for area coverage)
Good network of leads
