Sales Rep / Account Manager

Job Description
Our client based in Kenilworth is looking for a Sales Representative and Account Manger to assist in the selling and distribution of their inhouse manufactured products. This is a permanent position as well as the first position in the Sales Department. The salary will consist of a basic wage as well as commission on products sold each month.
The candidate is required to
- Understand health food products and represent the brand as the face of our product offering.
- Have in depth knowledge of the product offering and ingredients. (Training will be provided)
- Perform competitive market analysis from time to time.
- Have own reliable vehicle. Company will provide petrol allowance.
- Have own phone and cellphone contract. Company will provide an airtime and data allowance.
- Create and follow sales strategy with director guidance.
- Call and visit various delis and health food stores in the Western Cape to get products listed.
- Follow-up on product performance and ensure product placement and merchandising is presenting the product in the best possible light.
- Resolving any product defects or disputes
- Feedback to directors on sales figures and performance of products
- Feedback to production manager on product quality and distribution
- Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
