Sales Consultant - Tyre & Auto Workshop (Fish Hoek)

Salary: R10,000 + Commission (based on targets)

Location: Fish Hoek, Cape Town

Are you passionate about cars and customer service? Do you have a good head for numbers and love the challenge of closing a sale? We're looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales Consultant to join our busy Tyre and Auto Mechanical Workshop in Fish Hoek.

About the Role:

This is not a cashier position. We're looking for someone who can confidently interact with customers, assess their needs, and accurately quote and invoice for tyres, parts, and mechanical services -- all of which vary depending on the make and model of each vehicle.

You'll be working on the frontline of our business, helping customers find the right solutions, coordinating with our technical team, and ensuring a smooth, professional experience from quote to job completion.

Responsibilities:

Engage with walk-in and phone-in customers
Provide accurate, on-the-spot quotations for tyres, mechanical work, and services
Create and manage invoices using our point-of-sale system
Work closely with workshop staff to ensure accurate information and timing
Upsell products and services where appropriate
Meet sales targets to earn commission
Requirements:

Sales experience in the automotive or related industry preferred
Good understanding of vehicle components (especially tyres and mechanical parts preferred)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Comfortable with computer systems and invoicing software as well as Microsoft Office.
Honest, reliable, and able to work independently and under pressure
