Role Overview
We're seeking a robust and dynamic
Sales & Marketing Representative
to drive sales across three key channels:
Spit & Catering
- securing corporates, chefs and event catering clients
Online Sales & Platform
- expanding digital revenue streams and ensuring the online platform is updated, user-friendly, and aligned with MOG's premium brand
Restaurants
- building relationships with chefs and restaurateurs
Online Sales & Platform Management
Drive e-commerce growth through digital marketing, promotions, and customer engagement
Maintain and update the online platform to ensure seamless user experience and brand consistency
Introduce new features and improvements to support evolving client needs
Butchery Walk-ins
- engaging retail customers and boosting in-store sales

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Engagement
Prospect and secure new catering and restaurant clients
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Handle walk-in customer engagement and upselling in the butchery
Pricing & Quotes
Prepare accurate, brand-aligned quotes for catering and restaurant clients
Negotiate pricing within agreed margins
Marketing & Promotion
Support social media and WhatsApp campaigns with fresh, engaging content
Promote MOG's premium offerings to walk-in customers
Assist in positioning MOG's Proudly Local Pantry and hampers
Reporting & Feedback
Track sales activity and provide feedback on client needs
Suggest improvements to sales processes and marketing campaigns
Requirements
Proven experience in sales, preferably in food, catering, or hospitality
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to balance sales targets with brand positioning
Creative flair for marketing and promotions
Self-driven, robust, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Contract Details
Duration:
Six?month fixed?term contract (full?time, 5 days per week), with option to review and extend based on performance and business needs
Compensation:
Basic Salary: R10,000 per month
Performance-Based Incentives: Commission structure designed to reward hustle and results, with attractive earning potential.
