Job Description

Job Purpose:
To develop and manage strategic relationships with key international clients, drive sales growth in export markets, and enhance brand positioning of agricultural products globally.
Key Responsibilities:
Key Account Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with major export clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and resolve issues proactively.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and implement export sales strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Identify new market opportunities and lead market entry initiatives.
  • Achieve sales targets and manage revenue forecasts.
Marketing & Brand Development: Key focus of this position
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to tailor campaigns for international markets.
  • Represent the brand at trade shows, expos, and industry events.
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to inform positioning.
Export Compliance & Logistics:
  • Ensure adherence to international trade regulations and documentation.
  • Coordinate with logistics and operations for timely delivery and quality assurance.
Reporting & Analysis:
  • Provide regular sales performance reports and market insights.
  • Track KPIs and recommend improvements.
Candidate Requirements:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness, Marketing, International Trade, or related field. Postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Experience:
  • Minimum 5-7 years in sales and marketing within agriculture or food export markets.
  • Proven track record in key account management and international sales.
  • Experience working with value-added agricultural products (e.g., nuts, dried fruits, oils).
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Deep understanding of global agricultural trade dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in CRM and data tools.
  • Ability to work independently and travel internationally.
