The Role
We are seeking a
Sales Manager - Southern Africa
to lead and grow our luxury safari sales across
Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mauritius, and Madagascar
. This is a
flagship leadership role
with strategic responsibility for developing regional sales initiatives, managing key accounts, and collaborating across departments to ensure exceptional client experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Own and drive sales targets for the Southern Africa region, ensuring consistent growth and profitability.
Build and maintain strong relationships with luxury lodges, tour operators, and key partners in the region.
Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals, including market expansion and high-value client acquisition.
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to align product offerings and ensure seamless client experiences.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
Mentor, support, and guide sales consultants working in the region.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in luxury travel or safari sales, ideally with a focus on Southern Africa.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in strategic planning and regional growth.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Tech-savvy, with experience using CRM systems and digital sales tools.
Knowledge of sustainability and responsible tourism practices in Southern Africa is a plus.
