International Hotel Group is currently looking for a European based Sales Manager to oversee sales for their Maldives operations. The candidate will be required to have an international experience and the ability to travel to trade shows, do sales calls globally, and be in possession of a passport that would allow them to travel without any difficulties in Europe. Responsibilities:

• Understand and maximize the complex relationships and buying patterns in a multichannel business
• Manage markets and assist in creation and implementation of agreed sales strategies and marketing plans to effectively penetrate identified markets.
• Manage an effective and target driven sales network
• Identify, prioritise and a current knowledge of key players in the market (Maldives / Island Resorts), with the ability to network with, develop these and other key relationships
• Execute strategies by representing the brand at a senior level with key industry figures and key clients
• Accountability for delivery on agreed revenue budgets
• Revenue generation and strategic responsibilities that involve Sales Management & Development, Sales / Brand representation & negotiating
• Demonstrate commercial and yielding acumen with the ability to generate insights and actions from data

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years proven sales track record
• An applicable Degree or Diploma would be advantageous
• Experience selling Maldives or other island resorts
• Luxury tourism product experience
• Exposure to world class sales management / transformation and digital / e-commerce practices a distinct advantage
• Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets
• Extensive experience in all aspects of supplier relationship management
• Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
• Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals
• Ability to create a product presentation
