A retail marketing company is looking for a dynamic Sales Manager with grit and determination to lead their sales team to new heights. This role demands a strategic visionary who can ignite brand presence, cultivate enduring client relationships, and spearhead substantial business growth. The position is based in Durbanville and the company operates on a hybrid model.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Craft and execute bold sales strategies to smash monthly and quarterly targets,
driving the team to exceed expectations.
  • Client Management: Forge and nurture long-lasting client partnerships, owning existing accounts,
ensuring their success, and spotting opportunities for growth and upselling.
  • Solution Selling: Pitch, negotiate, and close deals on game-changing, brand-building solutions,
showcasing how our creative strategies can transform clients' marketing goals into sales wins.
  • Business Development: Proactively hunt and secure new business, expanding client portfolio
with tenacity and flair.
  • Team Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with in-house creative agency, design, and operations
teams to deliver groundbreaking campaigns and relay timely client insights.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of the curve in the retail media and in-store marketing space,
tracking competitor moves and industry trends to keep at the forefront.
Requirements
Skills and Experience We're Seeking:
  • Proven success in a sales leadership or business development role, ideally in advertising, media,
retail, or FMCG sectors, go-getters with a hunger to prove themselves will stand out!
  • Experience in in-store media, digital signage, or shopper marketing is a major plus.
  • A track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets, mastering the full sales cycle
from prospecting to closing.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a knack for inspiring clients.
  • Sharp strategic and creative thinking to translate complex marketing solutions into client-ready
ideas.
  • Matric/Grade 12.
  • A degree in Marketing, Brand Strategy, Communication, or Media.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
