Minimum 5 years sales experience, especially new business development is essential
Minimum 2 years in a management role will be required
Must be fast paced, hands on and be driven by sales and incentives
Must have a valid drivers license, a reliable car and be willing to travel to clients
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Developing and implementing sustainable customer relationship strategies enabling sales growth.
Leading a sales team and providing training to ensure company targets are achieved.
Driving the annual budget process in terms of sales (volume, revenue, pricing and margins etc).
Developing new business, building relationships with current and prospective clients and providing good customer service.
Delivering against sales targets on range of financial dimensions per set annual budgets.
Providing input into monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts for own accounts.
Managing and delivering on technical queries with regards to specialised existing and new products.
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding stock availability and delivery expectations.
Negotiating prices and volumes.
Following up and payments.
Providing training and technical assistance to clients.
