Sales Manager Mining Equipment
Job Description
Matric is essential
Post-matric Technical and / or Sales and Marketing qualification (NQF5) will be an advantage
Minimum of 6 years mining industry sales experience is essential with a proven track-record
Strong new business development skills is essential
You will call on the open cast mining sector in JHB, Pta, Polokwane, Witbank, Middelburg, Ellisras, Limpopo, Belfast and Mpumalanga
MS Office Proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel
Analytical with strong customer service skills
Expert knowledge in open cast mining environment (related to sales)
Persuasive, with excellent negotiation skills.
Good understanding of equipment configuration, application and operation
Strong numeracy / mathematical skills
You will be required to increase existing client database (20 %) and develop new business (80 %)
Weekly updates on reporting, planning and CRM updates on opportunities and quotations
Maintain and increase market share
Facilitates the sale and rental of equipment
Ensure participation in market opportunities
Reporting to the Head of Sales - Mining, the Sales Manager is key to developing the relationship between LAF and existing and prospective clients in order to grow divisional sales and build brand loyalty.
