R 55 000 - R 65 000 Monthly
Midrand, Johannesburg. Opportunity exists for a strong Sales Manager to lead local and international Sales Teams in the waste management industry. The ideal candidate must have a background in the waste management industry, minimum of 3 years, with overall experience in selling in the retail, commercial, hospitality and industrial sectors. Strong managerial skills with the ability to motivate and inspire an ever-growing team a must. Good eye for opportunities, and the ability to oversee multiple projects at once.
Responsibilities:

• Management and ongoing review of Sales team to ensure annual sales targets
• Oversee the SAT team
• Guide and oversee Tender Committee and internal / ad hoc sales functions
• Identifying key areas for improvement
• Work very closely with the Commercial Manager to ensure the best outcome for the company
• Work alongside and with the Sustainability department
• Work closely with the Presentation team to execute successful client presentations
• Supporting members of the sales team on site walks
• Working with other Department Heads to streamline the internal processes
• Promote the company and engage with key stakeholders with a view to ensuring the company is invited to tenders
• Work closely with the Legal Department in regards to SLAxe2x80x99s
• Monthly monitoring of sales consultants KPIxe2x80x99s
• Identify key areas for improvement and work closely with the Sales training lead to upskill and improve where required
• Present monthly reports detailing sales progress
• Administrative functions relating to cost proposal approvals and any other admin

Requirements:

• Matric
• Diploma / Degree in Sales or Marketing
• Must be able to travel and have valid license and reliable vehicle
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
• Computer literate - full Microsoft suite with particular focus on Excel
