Minimum requirements for the role:

A relevant degree or diploma in food or related qualification is preferred for this role.
Previous sales management experience managing a team of people is preferred.
Previous sales experience having worked within the meat processing and bakery industries is preferred.
The successful candidate must be well organised and must be a strategic thinker.
Must have previous business development experience.
Must have previous budgeting and costing experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Managing a team of people as well as driving and overseeing all commercial aspects and technical trouble shooting at various key account customers.
Managing senior key accounts within the meat processing and bakery manufacturing markets.
Managing and overseeing all planning on building market share across all categories.
Driving and achieving ingredients and casing volumes and budget
Expanding and developing of new products into the markets.
Managing and building client relationships and ensuring service effectiveness.
Presenting weekly sales reports to senior management.
Managing and overseeing all supply chain functions ensuring that customer products are delivered on time.
Attending and participating at marketing events.
Managing and overseeing growing sales and market share.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
