Sales Manager job vacancy in Cape Town. The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by increasing the number of property listings on our platform and expanding our market presence through proactive outreach to agencies. This role will also involve building and managing a telephonic sales team to achieve specific targets. Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to increase the number of properties listings on our platform.
  • Build and manage a telephonic sales team to achieve specific targets.
  • Identify and target key vacation rental agencies to build relationships and expand our network.
  • Set clear performance targets for your sales team, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align sales with promotional activities and seasonal campaigns.
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry developments to ensure our offerings remain competitive and relevant.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and team achievements for presentation to senior management.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Business, Marketing, or a relevant industry experience.
  • Proven track record of at least 2 years in sales management, preferably in the travel, real estate, or hospitality industries.
  • Strong experience building and maintaining business relationships, with a demonstrated ability to negotiate and close deals.
  • Excellent communication skills (Afrikaans & English), both written and verbal.
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and remotely manage a telephonic sales team.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel for in-person agency visits as required.
  • A passion for travel and hospitality and a genuine interest in holiday home rentals.
  • Experience with lead generation techniques and strategies.
  • Experience with sales software and industry best practices
