Job Description
Our valued Online International Client has a vacancy for a BDM from FMCG or Fresh Food Retail in South Africa who understands the LSM.
You will need to speak various South African languages to guide and train your sales team who will be working in Soweto and surrounding areas.
Our Client seeks to employ a go-getter who knows and understands the current South African market specifically small shops, eatery's, cafxc3xa9's and stokvels. Ideally a person from the online shopping industry.
- Food Retail Industry experience
- Retail or fresh market sales
- Spaza shop experience
- Bulk product sales
- Manage field service sales staff
- Manage agents in communities
- Grow and map the market share
- Build networks to increase bulk food sales
- 5 to 10 years in retail food sales and marketing
- Must have built networks and connections in the online shopping network
- 5 years as a Business Development Manager
- Understanding of the spaza or small shop industry in South Africa
- Understanding and experience in growing networks in this industry
- Must be digitally literate
- Must understand how ONLINE sales and APP's work
- Experience in E-Commerce will be highly rated
- Small retail or fresh food industry
- Online food Industry
- E-Commerce Industry
- Software Industry
- Matric
- Drivers License
- ND or Degree in sales or similar would be highly rated
