Sales Manager Flow Metering

Job Description
Job Summary An international leader in industrial automation is looking for a Sales Manager to drive growth across Africa This hybrid role blends technical know-how with business development and strategic leadership. You'll focus on growing the Flow Controls and Instrumentation portfolio -- including digital valve controllers and connected services -- while leading key customer engagements, channel partner development, and high-value project pursuits.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Engineering degree (Mechanical, Mechatronic, or similar)
- 10-12 years' technical sales or channel sales experience in the valve/process control industry
- 10+ years' hands-on experience with control valve sizing and selection
- 3-5 years of project pursuit or EPC involvement
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally and cross-border
- Must be based in South Africa with the ability to work in a hybrid model
- Strong understanding of smart/digital valve controllers and connected technologies
- Proven ability to grow market share and exceed targets
- Experience with severe service applications and engineered valve solutions
- Solid understanding of key industries: mining, power, hydrocarbons, and chemical
- Ability to lead and support channel partners across multiple regions
- Commercially savvy with a strong technical foundation
- Familiar with KOB1-KOB3 frameworks and installed base upgrade strategies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
