Sales Manager
to lead our
Sales Department
-- a dynamic team responsible for engaging clients through digital and telephonic channels, conducting financial assessments, and recommending credit rehabilitation solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
Lead and manage a team of digital agents, and team leaders within a fast-paced contact centre environment.
Motivate, coach, and develop team members to achieve individual and departmental sales targets.
Conduct regular one-on-one performance reviews and implement development or improvement plans where needed.
Create a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous learning.
Sales & Digital Channel Management
Drive sales performance across both digital (WhatsApp, online leads, CRM-based interactions) and telephonic channels.
Monitor daily sales activities and ensure efficient lead distribution and follow-up.
Analyse performance data and implement targeted strategies to improve lead conversion rates.
Collaborate with the marketing team to optimise lead generation and digital engagement.
Financial Assessment Oversight
Oversee and ensure accurate client financial assessments, verifying credit reports, affordability checks, and product recommendations.
Ensure that all assessors adhere to company guidelines,
NCR
, and
POPIA
regulations.
Support assessors in handling complex client cases and maintaining professionalism when engaging with financially vulnerable clients.
Operational Excellence
Manage workflow, rosters, and timekeeping for team leaders and assessors.
Review team productivity and introduce process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Maintain accurate reporting on conversion rates, revenue performance, and team KPIs.
Ensure that disciplinary, attendance, and performance issues are handled in line with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and company policy.
Strategy & Growth
Develop and execute sales strategies that align with business objectives and financial wellness outcomes.
Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and changes in credit legislation.
Drive innovation in digital sales approaches and customer experience improvements.
Requirements
Minimum of
3 years' experience
in
sales management
, preferably within
financial services
environments.
Experience managing digital and telephonic sales teams.
Strong understanding of financial assessment processes, credit rehabilitation products, and customer affordability evaluations.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Excel.
Sound understanding of labour legislation, performance management, and compliance requirements.
Matric (Bachelor's pass required); a tertiary qualification in Business, Sales, or Finance is advantageous.
Clear criminal and credit record.
