Job description:
Waste Control has a vacancy for a motivated, professional and self-driven Sales Manager to join their team. The Sales manager will be responsible for leading the sales team.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Create and implement sales plans and strategies for the department
• Ensure that new business leads are followed up at all times
• Setting sales goals and targets for the department and ensure that the goals and targets are met
• Building and maintaining professional relationships with other divisions of SA Metal Group
• Build and promote strong customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their business needs
• Present sales and revenue reports and realistic forecasts to senior management
• Approving sales quotations and managing tender applications and processes
• Continuously identifying areas within the sales department in which the business can improve and implementing such improvement

Minimum Qualifying Requirements:

• A tertiary qualification in Sales or Marketing
• A minimum of between 10 years' experience in a Sales or Marketing position
• At least 5 years management experience
• Fluent in English and preferably Afrikaans
• Knowledge and experience of waste management is an advantage
• Hands-on experience in budgeting and reporting
• Computer literate - full Microsoft suite
• Valid Code 08 license and own reliable vehicle
