 A well-established rope access solutions provider, is looking to expand its strategic sales team. Specialising in industrial and commercial rope access work, including maintenance, repairs, and high-access services, the company prides itself on agility, safety, and minimal operational disruption for clients. With a small internal team and a network of project-based contractors, the business services a wide client base. This is an opportunity to join a close-knit, high-performance team, with the autonomy to drive business development and take full ownership of large deals across diverse industries. You'll play a critical role in setting the tone for future sales hires and the expansion of the company's footprint 
Minimum Requirements:
 Matric / Grade 12
 Own vehicle and valid license (Essential)
 Diploma, Certificate in Sales or Related field
 Minimum 7 years of sales experience, with a focus on key account management
 Experience in rope access, industrial services, or related sectors
 Proven success in winning large, complex deals and managing strategic relationships
 Strong CRM system experience
 Proficiency in solution selling and consultative sales approaches
 Previous collaboration with cross-functional teams on customised service solutions
 Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
 Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving ability
 Strong industry network and existing relationships with key decision-makers
 Willingness to travel extensively
 Must be able to provide proof of sales performance 
Duties and Responsibilities:
 Develop and execute strategic sales plans to secure key projects and grow key account revenue
 Engage with high-level stakeholders, including C-suite executives and decision-makers
 Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and client feedback to identify growth areas
 Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities including tenders and JVs
 Manage and nurture long-term client relationships, ensuring repeat business and referrals
 Partner with operations to deliver tailored rope access solutions
 Negotiate commercial terms and close high-value contracts
 Provide insights and industry expertise in collaboration with marketing efforts
 Attend site visits and client meetings across Johannesburg and beyond, including cross-border travel when required
 Represent the company in securing opportunities in sectors such as government, construction, energy, agriculture, and industrial manufacturing
