Job Summary This is an exciting opportunity for a self-driven, highly motivated Salesperson with a proven sales track record and a passion for hunting for new clients to work for an exclusive importer and wholesaler of back up batteries, surveillance and security peripherals. This position is for an external, client facing Salesperson with a strong sense of business-to-business sales, the successful candidate will be based in our Johannesburg office in Lanseria and be responsible for the following: WHAT YOU'LL DO: Must have industry related experience in wholesale of back-up batteries, surveillance and security peripherals. Identifying new business opportunities through generating leads and cold calling. Achieving monthly gross profit target. Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Serve as lead point of contact for all customer account management matters. Drive relationships with resellers. Providing assistance and training to customers. Plan sales campaigns and demonstrations for customers. WHAT YOU'LL BRING: Energetic, client centric focus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer engagement and relationship building skills. Strong negotiation skills. Updating sales figures and pipelines regularly. Excellent interpersonal and networking skills. Excellent time management skills. WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Matric is essential, a tertiary education and/or relevant diploma would be advantageous. Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle is an inherent requirement. Knowledge of Security/CCTV products, battery and energy solutions as well as reseller channels. 3 - 5 years external sales experience is essential for this position. An achiever in sales.
