Our retail boutique showcases premium confectionery products, curated gift boxes, and elegant takeaway items. We are seeking passionate and polished Sales Executives / Cashiers to be the face of our retail experience.
Position Summary:
The Sales Executive / Cashier plays a key role in delivering a luxurious retail experience to every guest. The ideal candidate will have a strong retail background in high-volume environments, excellent customer service skills, and a refined sales approach aligned with a premium hospitality concept. This role combines boutique sales, point-of-sale operation, product knowledge, and guest engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and assist guests in selecting products with warmth, elegance, and brand knowledge.
Maintain a deep understanding of the full product range including pastries, chocolate, gifting, and seasonal launches.
Operate POS systems efficiently for cash, credit, and voucher transactions.
Ensure all transactions are accurate, properly documented, and end-of-day reconciliation is completed.
Actively upsell and cross-sell products to drive revenue and enhance guest experience.
Maintain the visual presentation of displays and ensure boutique cleanliness and restocking standards.
Support with packaging, gift wrapping, and custom orders in line with luxury brand expectations.
Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and service recovery mindset.
Collaborate closely with restaurant and kitchen teams for pre-orders, reservations, and special requests.
Assist with inventory checks, expiry date monitoring, and FIFO compliance.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in luxury food retail, boutique, or high-end hospitality setting.
Proficient in POS systems and cash handling.
Strong verbal communication in English; additional languages are a plus.
Excellent grooming, etiquette, and presentation.
Track record in achieving sales targets and customer satisfaction.
Experience working in high-volume, fast-paced retail environments.
Understanding of food hygiene and handling standards.
