About the Role As a Sales Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to deliver reliable, high-quality geotechnical measurement solutions. You'll manage and grow client relationships, drive new business development, and provide expert technical support across a wide range of industries. You'll work directly with the EMEA Sales Manager and be part of a collaborative team that values innovation, integrity, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients in SA and African countries. Understand and assess client needs, offering tailored technical solutions. Prepare and present quotes, technical data, and product information. Proactively manage your sales pipeline and regularly report progress. Attend key trade shows, conferences, and customer site visits. Assist with sales-to-production handover and follow-up on quotations and projects. Provide occasional on-site field support and technical assistance. What You Bring A University Degree or equivalent Technical Diploma in Geotechnical, Civil or Mining Engineering or in Geology, Geophysics is a prerequisite for this role. Business development and sales experience, particularly with geotechnical measurement equipment Experience in geotechnical instrumentation, data acquisition, or mining/dam applications is highly desirable. Strong technical aptitude and systems thinking approach. Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a knack for technical problem-solving. A passion for sales, business development, and delivering real customer value. Ability and willingness to travel as needed. Fully conversant in English and preferably some other languages of Africa, such as French, Swahili, Arabic, isiZulu, isiXhosa, Setswana, etc Why Join Campbell Scientific?
