Job Description
Job Summary A global automation and sensor technology leader is building a talent pool of high-calibre Sales Engineers with strong FMCG, packaging, food, and consumables industry exposure. This is a solutions-based technical sales role, ideal for someone who already operates confidently at systems and process level.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering
- 5+ years' experience in technical or system solution sales
- Established network in FMCG, packaging, food, or consumables manufacturing
- Solid exposure to automation, system integration, or sensor technologies
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel nationally
- Develop and grow key accounts within high-volume manufacturing environments
- Consult on and sell automation, sensor, and control solutions
- Work closely with engineering and project teams on solution design
- Leverage existing industry relationships to drive new business
- Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity to implementation
- Build long-term relationships with engineering, operations, and procurement teams
