Sales Engineer - Paarl

Leader in supplier of liquid filling solutions has an opportunity for a Sales Engineer to join their Professional Team in Paarl/Boland. The ideal candidate will be a competent, self-motivated candidate with a track record of sales achievement in a technical business environment.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager and the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and developing key client accounts to ensure that superior levels of customer service are maintained, exceeding customer expectations. The suitable candidate will focus on business development & continuous growth of key accounts and ensure effective operations within the set targets and budgetary requirements:

For the position you would be required to have:

• A strong technical (engineering) background.
• Previous experience in selling capital equipment, preferably in the Packaging Industry.
• Knowledge of the Food & Beverage Industry.
• Have a min of 5 yearsxe2x80x99 relevant sales experience.
• Grade 12 Senior Certificate, with a tertiary qualification in Engineering, Sales, Marketing or Public Relationship Management as a prerequisite.
• Computer literacy xe2x80x93 MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, Internet.
• Excellent people skills, communication skills and customer service oriented.
• Proven experience in relationship management.
• Proven track record of technical sales and meeting sales targets.
• Well-travelled and willing and able to travel on a frequent basis, both locally and internationally.
• In possession of a valid driverxe2x80x99s license and passport
