Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Business Development team. This individual will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities across the telecom, civil engineering, and infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify potential clients (contractors, facility managers, telecom providers, etc.)
Conduct cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to generate leads
Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the senior sales or engineering team
Collaborate with the proposal team on RFPs and tender submissions
Track outreach metrics and report on lead conversion rates
Attend site visits or project briefings when required (local travel)
Candidate Requirements
Must-Have:
2+ years experience in B2B sales, lead generation, or business development (preferably in engineering, construction, or telecom sector)
Excellent communication skills (spoken and written)
Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice-to-Have:
Background in engineering, construction, or telecom (certification or diploma)
Experience working with public and private tenders
Knowledge of technical services.
Performance Indicators
Number of qualified leads generated weekly/monthly
Conversion rate from lead to proposal
CRM activity and reporting accuracy
Response rate from email or call campaigns
