Sales Coordinator:

Our client, a leading distributor of value-added cable and networking systems, is currently seeking a Sales Coordinator. This role involves the promotion and sale of the company's products, where a strong technical understanding is essential. The sales Coordinator will be responsible for planning, prioritising, and executing sales activities to support and achieve the company's strategic goals.

Minimum Requirements:

Matric Certificate. Tertiary qualification in marketing or sales would be beneficial. 2-5 years of sales experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Background in ICT with sound technical knowledge. Strong verbal and written communication skill. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong client relationships. Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing product information, service support, and personalised guidance. Process sales orders and quotations received via telephone, email, or walk-ins in accordance with company procedures. Proactively identify and resolve customer issues to ensure a high level of satisfaction and repeat business. Maintain accurate records of customer and internal communications, including follow-ups on quotations and requests. Assist in developing and implementing sales plans to expand the customer base and drive business growth. Identify high-potential prospects to focus targeted sales efforts and increase conversion rates. Manage pricing strategies to support the achievement of company margin and profitability goals. Monitor customer buying patterns and report trends or insights to the Sales Manager for strategic action. Prepare and submit sales reports and other documentation as required by company management.
