The main purpose of this job is to manage client base by selling a range of computer hardware, software and other ICT goods and services.
Primary Objectives:
Identify and generate new ICT business opportunities.
Close sales and achieve targets.
Maintain advanced knowledge of products and services, through attending Vendor and Product management training sessions - either virtual, in-person or events.
Managing client base to ensure customers are up to date with specials and promotions.
Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance, researching, and recommending new opportunities and service improvements.
Maintain and drive customer breadth targets, by reaching an optimal number of customers on the dealer base.
Education/Qualification
Matric or higher education
Skills & Competencies
Strong customer relationships
Ability to work under pressure.
Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Attention to Detail
Ability to close deals
Education and Experience
Minimum 2 years in ICT Sales experience
* Must have cold calling sales experience.
