Job Description
RPO's client is actively seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to join their team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional to grow within a dynamic environment.
This is a full-time, onsite position, reporting to the Blowpack Sales Manager.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored packaging solutions.
- Handle customer complaints efficiently.
- Go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Proactively manage a four-weekly customer visit plan.
- Prepare accurate weekly sales forecasts.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Source new business and grow sales in line with company strategy.
- Compile monthly sales reports and analyze variances.
- Provide sales forecasts to ensure stock availability.
- Manage price increases and ensure accurate price tables.
- Conduct customer surveys and gather feedback.
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market trends.
- 2-3 years of sales experience.
- Marketing or Sales Qualification (Degree advantageous).
- Proven track record in sales.
- Ability to prepare budgets and set targets.
- FMCG sales experience is essential.
- Experience in the plastics/packaging industry is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven.
