Sales Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and customer-focused sales assistant to join our dynamic team in the retail industry. As a sales assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our store. With your keen eye for detail and excellent interpersonal skills, you will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
Greeting customers promptly and engaging in friendly conversation to determine their needs
Assisting customers in finding the right products and providing detailed information about features, benefits, and pricing
Processing sales transactions accurately using our point-of-sale (POS) system
Maintaining a clean and organised store environment, including restocking shelves and arranging merchandise displays
Handling customer inquiries and resolving complaints in a professional and timely manner
Collaborating with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store
Assisting with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and conducting regular stock checks
Requirements
NQF 4 equivalent, matric certificate or higher
Candidate must be eligible to work in South Africa
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
