What are we looking for?




We are seeking an experienced and talented dynamic Sales Assistant with strong interpersonal skills and local market insight to drive customer engagement and support sales growth across the Eastern Cape regions.

What do we expect from the candidate?




The candidate will be the initial point of contact for any customer with inquiries or problems pertaining to goods or services that the business offers. Among their numerous duties include taking care of incoming calls, responding to inquiries from customers on goods and services, and handling refunds and payments.

The key responsibilities:



Taking orders from clients, sales reps management. Preparing pro-forma invoices to be invoiced on the Accounting System. Invoicing orders (local/export) - understand quantity, calculations and pricing. Preparing credit note documents. To be efficient in admin and maintain structure with orders from customers as per company procedures. Emailing credit and COD applications to customers on requests. Checking PODs once returned to customers. Making sure Durban/JHB/CTN/P.E POD's are all up to date and in order. Preparing stock adjustments paperwork. Assist Branch Manager with monthly credit card recons. Assist with Interbranch orders including arranging transportation. Assist with over time sheet compilation. Checking batch numbers for customers that require COA's. Invoicing of manual delivery notes (DNOTE Book). Handling all customer enquiries. Assisting Reps with quoting customers. Conducting customer quotes monthly for existing and new customers. Following up on quotations and liaise with customers. Preparing picking slips and send it to warehouse. Maintain excellent relationships with customers. Manage orders to ensure that all customer specifications are met, conduct commercial invoices for customers. Liaise with customers account status and payments. Managing customer claims and credits. Direct liaison with transporters. Organize transportation for Cross Border. Appointed as the Food Safety Officer of the branch to ensure ISO22000 regulations are kept. Assist Branch Manager with Office Administration.

If you possess...



Must-Have

:

Grade 12 (Matric). Experience in food/homecare will be advantageous. Operational experience is advantageous. Interpersonal skills. Ability to work autonomously. Knowledge of administrative duties. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office packages. Knowledge of safety/quality/accounting administrative systems - Accumatica. Experience with ISO22000 will be advantageous.
