Job Description

We're seeking a customer-focused and sales-driven Retail Sales Associate to join our team in Umhlanga. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, drive sales growth, and maintain a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales:
- Meet and exceed sales targets
- Provide product information and recommendations to customers
- Demonstrate product features and benefits

- Effectively sell beds and related products to customers, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded

- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to drive revenue growth

- Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the department

2. Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service and support
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
- Build customer relationships and loyalty

3. Merchandising:
- Maintain a visually appealing store environment
- Ensure accurate inventory levels and product displays

4. Operations:
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment

KPIs:

1. Sales Performance:
- Sales revenue growth
- Sales target achievement
- Average transaction value
2. Customer Service:
- Customer satisfaction ratings
- Customer retention rate
- Net promoter score
3. Merchandising:
- Store appearance and visual merchandising standards
- Inventory accuracy and product availability
4. Operations:
- Transaction accuracy and efficiency
- Store cleanliness and organization

Target Metrics:

- Sales revenue growth: please confirm %
- Sales target achievement: 95% or higher
- Customer satisfaction ratings: 90% or higher
- Customer retention rate: 80% or higher

Requirements:

- 1-2 years of retail experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
