Sales Agronomist
Job Description
Our client is looking for an Agronomist. This role is responsible for providing technical advice and support to farmers and other agricultural stakeholders on crop production, soil management, and other related topics. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of agronomy principles and practices, as well as experience working in the agricultural industry.
Responsibilities:
Conduct field research and trials to evaluate new crop varieties and production methods.
Provide technical advice to farmers on crop selection, planting, fertilization, and pest management.
Develop and implement soil management plans to improve crop yields and soil health.
Conduct soil testing and analysis to determine nutrient deficiencies and other soil problems.
Prepare reports and presentations on agricultural research and practices.
Work with other agricultural professionals to develop and implement new crop production programs.
Key Skills:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel.
Strong understanding of agronomy principles and practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in agronomy, agriculture, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in the agricultural industry.
Experience with soil testing and analysis.
3-5 years experience in the seed industry
