An established Accounting Firm with offices in the Western and Eastern Cape is looking to appoint ambitious and capable SAIPA Trainee Accountants to their Bellville branch. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates wanting to start their careers in accountancy and finance and gain valuable experience in accounting, tax and within various industries.

The firm provides reliable and professional accounting, taxation, secretarial and related administration services and advice to small and medium-sized businesses, individuals and larger organisations throughout South Africa.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Produce client reports.
• Perform accounting work.
• Administrative duties.
• Full bookkeeping and accounting function up to trial balance, including debtors, creditors, bank, petty cash, journals, etc.
• Handling of VAT and PAYE reviews.
• Invoicing and debtorsxe2x80x99 collection.
• IRP5 calculations, reconciliations and submissions.
• Liaison with clients.
• Maintenance of SARS accounts.
• PAYE/UIF/SDL calculations and EMP201 submissions.
• Registration and deregistration for Income Tax, PAYE, VAT and Import and Export licenses.
• Tax clearance applications.
• UIF registration and administration.
• VAT calculations and VAT201 submissions.
• WCA registrations, submission of returns and arranging letters of good standing.

• BAccounting, BCom Accounting, BCom Management Accounting, BCom Financial Accounting, or equivalent.
• Computer literacy.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Driverxe2x80x99s licence and own transport.
