Job Description
Our client in the Property Investment industry is currently looking for SAIPA Trainee Accountants, in Cape Town.
Responsibilities:
- Capture transactions in accounting records.
- Perform reconciliations.
- Perform bookkeeping to trial balance.
- Interpreting clientsxe2x80x99 accounting records and compiling annual financial statements (IFRS for SMExe2x80x99)
- Perform tax calculations and complete income tax returns and provisional tax returns.
- Perform VAT and PAYE calculations in order to submit returns on E-filing.
- Assist accountants with various client matters, including administrative work.
- Resolve queries.
- Performing tasks required in terms of the SAIPA competency framework.
- Any other tasks related to the role as a SAIPA Trainee Accountant.
- Completed Finance/Accounting Degree.
- Computer literate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Valid driver's licence and own transport.
- Up to R11 500 CTC per month.
