Saica Trainee Accountant (audit Clerk) 2026
Job Description
Cecil Kilpin and Co is a medium sized Audit firm based in Century City, Cape Town. We are looking for hardworking and dedicated individuals who wish to apply for a traineeship position (articles) whilst studying towards their CA (SA) qualification.
We are looking for BCom Accounting graduates or students wanting to join our firm in February 2026. To start a 3/4/5 year Training contract to complete your articles.
Requirements:
For favourable consideration, successful candidate(s) should be studying towards a CA(SA) qualification:
1. You have completed or in progress with your SAICA accredited degree/bridging course in Accounting (BCom / BCompt/BAcc etc)
2. Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA) / Honours degree/ CTA (is advantageous, but not essential)
3. Fluent in Afrikaans and English (written and spoken) - non-negotiable
4. Valid driver's license and reliable transport will be advantageous
5. Computer literate
6. Good communication skills
All applicants should be South African citizens, Permanent Residents or be in possession of a valid work permit to be considered
