Job Type: Full-time, 3-year contract, learner-ship / internship.

Minimum Requirements:

Accredited BCom Accounting Degree, with completion of SAICA articles and board exams. Working towards becoming a qualified CA (required). Previous work experience in financial services.

Candidate Requirements:

Excellent communication skills--both written and spoken (English) are essential. Computer literacy--advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Word is required. Analytical and solution-driven, with the ability to adapt to various industries. Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail and accuracy. Overtime may be required from time to time to meet client deadlines. Dedicated, hardworking, and a team player. Valid driver's license and own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

Quoting: Prepare quotes for structural designs based on project specifications. Structural Design: Create detailed designs for foundations, decks, and superstructures. Analysis: Utilize software tools to perform structural analysis and ensure compliance. Materials Selection: Recommend materials considering weight, strength, and corrosion resistance. Documentation: Prepare technical reports and specifications for projects. Project Management: Assist in planning, budgeting, and scheduling for timely project completion. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs meet safety and environmental regulations. Quality Control: Participate in inspections to maintain design integrity during construction.
