Matric, own vehicle and driver's license essential
Registered with SACPCMP as a Safety officer/ Candidate officer
Experience with IMPLEMENTATION of safety management on MULTI-SITES
Must be able to travel nationally
Experience ensuring all documentation is updated, communicated and records maintained.
Construction Regulations advantageous (In-depth knowledge and understanding)
Petroleum Industry experience advantageous

DUTIES
Manage Multiple sites with assistance and direction of Compliance Manager
Manage implementation of Health, Safety, Environmental out in the field
Coordinating HSE function ensuring compliance in terms of relevant legislation
Ensure framework established by compliance manager is maintained
Logging of compliance activities timeously
Report internally where issues of non-compliance arise
Assist Compliance Manager with information required to maintain company accreditations.
Ensure all documentation is updated, & submissions for client accreditations are completed Ensure personnel are trained on changes in procedure/policies where required
Managing quantity and quality of document submissions by technicians
Obtain approval for candidates to be appointed by the Compliance Manager
Updating documentation for HSE Files for field technicians - documentation for safety files in accordance with client requirements and act amendments for maintenance and projects
Ensure online platforms are updated with the latest company plans, procedures, risk assessments, safe work procedures and manhours
Monitor and manage training and development
Obtain all requests for PPE from the field, collate quarterly and submit for approval
Keeping track of PPE stock in the various branches
Ensure quotations & PO is received - sent to suppliers, correct stock delivered, registers are completed, uploaded to compliance
Ensure checklists are completed, reported and any non-compliance actioned against
Ensure quotations are received from suppliers for new equipment/ recalibration/ servicing of equipment and obtain approval
Establish Risk assessments for all infield work and workshop activities ensuring all HSE risks are identified, communicated and a safe system of works procedures established
Plan for infield and workshop emergency drills on a bi-annual basis.
Oversee execution of the drills & approving local suppliers for hazardous waste
Plan with the Compliance manager the internal audit schedule quarterly
Conduct Infield HSSE and safety file audits at scheduled intervals
Attend Client training and contractor meetings
Report all changes and updates to HSE manager
Manage compliance call logging
